Reports to: Leslie Drate, Social Media Team Lead

Budget:  $35k/quarter

Position available immediately

Position is expected to run 6 months

Full time position

On-site or partial telecommuting is permitted

 

Job Description

 

The Campaign Specialist will manage the development and execution of social media campaign content.  Working with our agencies, drives the development of collateral to support brand campaigns for implementation across social media.  Collateral includes white papers, infographics, videos, etc.  The Specialist manages an agency that creates the collateral.  Once the collateral is ready, the Specialist writes promotional descriptions and works with owners of various social media platforms to get the content disseminated to the public.  This role could be described as an editor/writer/project manager. Some creativity would also be helpful.

 

·         Fundamental understanding of brand campaigns

·         Maintain editorial calendar, project schedules, and drive towards deadlines and results

·         Work with and manage agency

·         Work with social media team to place content on social media sites

·         Write promotional descriptions of content for social media distribution

·         Review agency content for typos and errors before distributing

·         Distribute content to stakeholders who can “amplify” content in social media

·         Track results of content performance, analyze which content is most successful, create and distribute reports

  • Communicate professionally with internal clients, account managers, graphic designers, social media department, and executive team.

 

 

Skills: 

 

·         Minimum of 5 years of work experience

·         Marketing communications background would be helpful

·         Strong writing and editorial skills

·         Strong project management skills are key

·         Experience with managing third party agencies

·         Good analytical skills – ability to look at numbers and assess performance

  • Generating & presenting social media reporting and analytics
  • Able to communicate professionally with high-level clients in both a verbal and written format
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media
  • Must be a team player with the confidence to take lead on projects
  • Ability to work within a large corporate culture
